Whee! The updated archive is available for your viewing pleasure. I caught the cold from hell last weekend that wreaked havoc on my plans, so some new features will go up next month, but you can now view all of the updated episode pages. The Slashy Quotes Archive currently has quotes and remarks from 203 episodes.

Sorry for spamming you guys lately, but it is finally done! I've got almost all possible slashy quotes for M*A*S*H - just finished watching "Goodbye, Farewell and Amen". Those who volunteered to help, thank you very much - the beta version of the updated site will go up on Saturday, most likely.

I'm still looking for some artistically inclined person - the archive desperately needs a new bannery thing. Also, any kind people to help sort quotes by pairings are desperately needed. (Basically, a quote about a pairing can be by the two people in the pairing, like Hawkeye/Trapper being slashy together, or someone remarking how slashy they are.) All pairings still open!

Also, I'll need some input from everyone - would you like screencaps of non-verbal slashy scenes to be included with the quotes for the episode the screencap is from, or be in a separate gallery? Also, please let me know of any slashy non-verbal scenes from any episode - myself and my helpers will only be happy to screencap it and include it.

Anyways, "As Us Butch Guys Say At The Front" is almost ready for the major update, and in order have it ready for all the winter holidays, I'm looking for some help, about half of it to be done after the website goes through the first stage of updating around mid-December when I upload the new quotes (14th December, most likely). I need:
- one or two link checkers, to check for broken links. (mid-December)
- several people to compile the slashy quotes by pairing for that list. First person to write me about a certain pairing gets it. Also, one person needed to do Other Pairings, basically anything too minor to merit its own category. (mid-December)
- one or two screencappers, to screencap any scenes they (and other viewers) deem slashy from seasons 9-11. I can't do this, since I don't have those DVDs, so I'm relying on you guys. (starting now)
- everyone to send me all of their favorite visual slashy scenes they'd like screencapped from seasons 1-8. (starting now)
- anyone willing to do some icons/banners (now through mid-December).

All of the helpers will be mentioned on the site! Please - your help is really, really needed! Let me know if you can help in the comments or by sending an e-mail to mashslash [at] populli [dot] net, but please only volunteer if you're sure that you'll be able to do what you volunteered for. "As Us Butch Guys Say At The Front" is still looking for help: at the moment, it needs any quotes from seasons 9-11, which the webmistress doesn't have with subtitles. The site will be updated with new quotes and new color scheme sometime in October when my life will be less hectic (damn you, bureaucracy and lack of Internet!). Any help with these quotes will be appreciated and rewarded with a mention on the contributor page. And to conclude, here are some new quotes that will be seen soon on a computer screen near you.

The M*A*S*H Slashy Quotes Archive is planning a mass update later this year. I’m currently redesigning it slightly (a.k.a. making it slightly easier to read, for the sake of my and everyone else’s eyes – who knew that dark green on gray wasn’t the best color scheme?). The new color scheme will feature dark green and black on white, which are hopefully less eye-stabby, along with Trebuchet MS and Stencil fonts. The archive will still mostly be hand-coded, since I tend to distrust archive-y software (or rather I can’t understand it). Quotes from all seasons are still needed, particularly anything for seasons 5-11, the last third of season 2 & GFaA, as well as any other episodes that currently have no slashy quotes (and even episodes that have quotes – maybe the intrepid archivist has missed something). As soon as the quote update is completed, I am planning to make a page where you can see in what episodes a particular character has uttered something slashy. So break out your DVDs, turn on the English subtitles, and be prepared to write the quote down. Quotes (with episode title, name you want to be identified under on the contributors’ list, and any notes on the quote) can be sent to coffeecat [at] fastmail [dot] net (NOT to mashslash@populli.net!) or left in the comments.
