Here we are on the final day of Rec Week. We didn't have quite as much of a response as I would have liked, but remember, you can always go back and post to past days.

To finish the week off, today's theme is "Everything Else" - all the fics you've been waiting to recommend but they didn't fit into the other categories. Fansrt, vids, picspams, icons, anything.

Thanks to those who have already contributed and those of you who will in the future!

Unusual: Stories which are a bit different (but in a good way) from what you normally see. AU's, cross-overs, etc. Maybe even a change in setting? Characters? If you consider it different but brilliant, tell us about it.

Apologies to all. My boonie internet is semi-reliable at best, and yesterday and last night it was down. Anyways, shall we continue where we left off?

Yesterday's Today's theme is intelligent. These are the stories that made you think, taught you something, made you want to learn/research into a subject, etc. Basically, something you never expected from a fan fic. I know it's a bit confusing, but basically discuss stories that amazed you in the depth of detail and quality.

Today's the half-way mark and the theme theme is funny! Since laughter is the best medicine, (unless you have appendicitis) then share the good health and post some recs. There might be some overlap from day 1, but that's okay. Whether it's banter, parody, or crack, tell us about it here.

And I don't think I need to go over the posting rules again. ;) Go!

Onwards and upwards to our next theme: Hot. Share your links to the stories that leave you breathless, a little warm under the collar and possibly in need of a cold shower. Theses stories can be smut, or they can require a bit of imagination, but just be sure that they're hot.

You know the routine - maximum five recs, basic info on the rec (author, rating, title, link, etc) and be sure to include a brief detail on the story.

Also, the posts previous to this will be open for posting.

From one theme to another - today's theme is sad. Suggest any stories that end with you reaching for a tissue - or at the very least, a lump in your throat.

Like yesterday, recommend between one and five stories. State the title, author, a link, and a brief description of why the story is worthy of posting. The only thing I suggest for this section, is to warn potential readers of potentially controversial events (eg. graphic violence, non-canon character death, etc)

Oh, and feel free to reply to previous posts. "The mortar, the merrier."

Okay, since everyone was so enthusiastic about my suggestion, for the next seven days I'll be making posts where you can share your favourite fanfics with the rest of the fandom.

Today's theme is happy - stories that leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy after you've read them. Now, they don't have to be this way then entire way through, and the don't have to be comedic, but if they're one of those stories that'll cheer you up, then they count.

In in the comments to this entry, tell us the title, the author, write a sentence or two about why you like the story so much and provide a link. Also, you can include the type of fic, the rating, etc. if you'd like.

Recommend at least one story, but no more than five. Try not to recommend a story more than once, but feel free to second someone else's recommendation.

Now, given the nature of this comm, likely most recs will be slash, but if there's a gen or a het story that you love and think is worth mentioning, then I think we should allow those to be posted too.
