Seeking M*A*S*H roleplay?

Hey, fellow 4077 slashers! I hope it's alright to post this kind of thing here, especially since its technically my first post-- I didn't see a tag for it, so please let me know if I need to give this post a dishonorable discharge [though, through my experience, I can also see it bucking pretty strongly for a Section 8].

I'm very much into roleplaying [AIM-based, specifically], and for the past few days I've had my nose buried in the good old MASH Slash posted here on this community. So I'm blaming all of you for my craving; I'm sure you won't mind, Sirs and Ma'am-Sirs.

Anyway, I have a formal posting of what exactly I'm looking for over on rp_me, and that post can be found here. It goes into detail about what characters I'd like to play and who I'd like to play against. I'm not picky about how much experience my partner has with roleplaying, and I don't have any set limits as far as style and post length. I'm just looking to share the fandom!

I'd be really happy to talk to any of you about it! You can also find the best ways to contact me on that link, though you're more than welcome to comment on this post, too.

Just pimping through, tell me if this isn't allowed. But it does have to do with M*A*S*H and possibly slash, so bear with me. :D

The Nyx is watching us. All of us. Picking up on our existences, seeing our lives. Be warned, though, it may come to like you, and if it does you will suddenly find yourself trapped within it’s walls.

There is no way out. The Nyx won’t let you leave. So, you may as well get used to the view, maybe grab a drink at the bar, because you’re going to be here for a while.

The reason for my posting this is because from what I've read here the past while, the lot of you are damn good writers and if any of you are interested in the roleplay field of writing, I would love it if you could give our sad, lonely (though not so much sad as lonely) Hawkeye a friend *nudge wink shot*, not to mention the fact that the MASH fandom is underloved when it comes to roleplay. So if you're interested, take a look and come join. Give a Hawk a hand. :]

Calling RPGers

Hey,

I'm helping organise an LJ/IM RPG game based in a crossover universe ([livejournal.com profile] watcherverse) which includes MASH. The MASH section of the universe currently crosses over directly with House and Scrubs. The set up is set mostly present day and involves the now older MASH character as ex-teachers and mentors to the next generation of doctors as seen in House and Scrubs. The crossover extends beyond these shows to others such as Buffy and Highlander making for a fan and challenging universe to play in.

We don't currently have any sign ups for any of the medical based characters so any budding Hawkeys's, Trapper's or whoever, if you would be interested please pop along to here and drop us a comment.

We are hoping to kick off in feburary to give people time to discuss everything before we start.
