And see, while I'll snicker at Ernie/Bert, I also shudder--but that's because the squick there is bringing sex onto Sesame Street. M*A*S*H already had sex. Lots of sex. Mostly implied sex, but it was definitely there.
And so while I understand the idea that "sexualizing treasured childhood program = squick," if you want to keep M*A*S*H a sex-free zone, you need to not watch it after the age of twelve....
Good point. I never really intended to side with the people who are squicked by M*A*S*H slash, but I was just trying to say that I see their (slightly ignorant) POV. :p
