Yet once more, time for another conversation topic. As usual, this is in hopes of bringing out those lurking about, giving others reason to express their opinions, and initiating some conversation.
This time, though, it's a bit different. I want you to think, for a moment, about BJ, Trapper, and Hawkeye meeting after the war -- years after, a week after, whatever you wish. Thinking about it? Now, run with it. Yes, this is the topic. The three of them, BJ, Trapper, and Hawkeye meeting. What do you think would happen? Why? Who would like who, dislike who, who would have changed, what happens? You can approach this in a fictional story manner, in a personality manner, in any way you wish.
The question is, what do you think would happen if those three met after the war?
And, to fit the point of this community, what would happen if two of the three were, or had been at one time, involved? You don't necessarily have to use this question.
I'm hoping this is clear enough, and that some form of conversation can be expressed. If this isn't as inspiring as I hope, let me know. Any confusion, ask me.
Here's hoping discussion will occur.
Farewell.

Date: 2004-06-18 01:18 pm (UTC)Anyways,
Well, I think that they would be extatic if they all met at one time. Perhaps three years after the war, or so. Hawkeye is a surgeon at a New York, Manhatten, Genral Hospital, while Trapper is a famous world wide boxer, and BJ's a pediatrition.
Both, Trapper and BJ are in New York for buisness.
One day, Hawkeye, while walking down 5th avunue, had discovered someone that reminded him of a friend. He couldn't quite put his finger on it so he just kept walking. And right when turned the corner, THERE THEY WERE!! BJ and Trapper standing right there! talking! Hawkeye's face would light up bright like a christmas tree while seeing his good ol' army buddies again. Hawkeye would run up and hug those guys till they can breathe no more. Standing there in amazment, they would discuss about the amazing, yet horrifying, expireince they had with eachother, and also what they have been up to all these years. Though trapper may not get along to well with BJ, but there is always hope. All would be well. They would go to eat to a fancy New York resturuat, and enjoy the sad, bad, scary, near death expiriences of the war they both shared, each sharring a memorable martini.
Then they'd go dancing.

Farewell.

Date: 2004-06-19 07:04 am (UTC)Meh. Actually, um, I would love to join in this discussion, but do you think you could stop ending every comment with "Farewell"? I'm not sure why it bugs me so, but I think maybe it's because "Farewell" means "That's it, the end, goodbye forever" and, in the middle of a conversation (such as a thread on livejournal) this just seems a very, very rude thing to say. I know you don't mean it like that, but it's certainly the effect it has on me: when you terminate a comment with "Farewell" what you are literally saying is "That's it, end of conversation, no more from me, and I'm not going to respond to anything you say." Which is kind of a damper, even if I tell myself you don't really mean it.
