Due to the fact that this community has been rather, well, quiet lately, I've taken it upon myself to try and stir a bit of activity. Unfortunately, I haven't a story to post to do so, so I'll have to settle for a little conversation starter.
What would you (you being all those "yous" out there) consider to be your most unusual MASH pairing? Or, if not that, do you happen to have a pairing that you adore but would never admit to liking?
I hope this produces some activity.
Farewell.

Date: 2004-04-13 12:30 pm (UTC)I kind of like BJ/Frank, although only when it's Frank unrequited. I would never have though of it on my own, but Jazz Man did it (http://members.fortunecity.co.uk/bajor/all.txt) a while ago, and it made a good deal of sense to me.
I love Hawkeye/Sidney, but I don't find it very strange at all.
In response to that first comment -- it's funny, but it's always seemed to me as though Klinger/Charles gets written more often than most other oddball pairings (by which I mean pairings other than the obvious Trapper/Hawkeye and BJ/Hawkeye). And yet whenever I mention it to people outside the fandom, they always say, "That really shouldn't work." I think it does, somehow.
