I've been thinking recently, and I've a proposition to make.
While looking for more places to pimp my M*A*S*H fanfic, it occured to me ... there aren't any. This appears to be the only M*A*S*H community on LJ that isn't long dead, besides one icon community (which I'm also a member of). A google search came up with nothing. Ff.net is ... not the best site ever. And the rest of the net seems scarily M*A*S*Hfic-free.
Now the only problem with posting fic here is, it only accomodates slash. While I love slash with a passion (*points to icon*), this limits the number of M*A*S*H fans willing to post fic here, and thus the number of fans likely to see our writing.
Please understand I'm not trying to usurp this community. On the contrary - I love it here. I simply think we need more places to host fanfic and get reviews.
If I created a community for any M*A*S*H fanfic, regardless of pairing, rating or content, perhaps with monthly fic challenges to participate in, would there be any interest? As one more place to pimp fic, I can't see it would be a bad idea, but to get me motivated enough to actually go and create a community, I need a lot of comments saying "yay!" and such ... so over to you.
