Summary: None.

A/N: Post-war fic. It’s sort of an answer to the challenge I posted way back when in which authors were supposed to use the phrase “I still wish I knew what it felt like to kiss you.” And I know that some will argue that they *did* kiss in “Say No More”, but I’ve seen that kiss, and wouldn’t actually consider it a “kiss” kiss … and damn! Now I’m talking like Frank Burns!

This is dedicated to captain_lubey … she of the good ‘ship Charles/Margaret hope it’s okay and siggen who really wanted an angsty!Charles fic. This may not be *exactly* what you wanted, but hopefully you still sorta like it. I apologize for the shortness of it … I sort of ran out of steam. My Charles!muse and my Margaret!muse stopped cooperating with me, damn them!

Thanks so much for the FB. Believe it or not, I'm not a big fan of Charles/Margaret either. I'm solidly in the Trapper/Margaret camp (they're second only to BJ/H) ... but I promised captain_lubey that I'd give C/M a shot. Plus, I think Charles (DOS) has great chemistry with just about any women he works with.

I think I might have a small crush on him after watching Foreign Affairs on the DVD instead of TV. He looks like he's probably a very good kisser.

I've got to vanish from all things non-RP more often. I come back to some great fic.

First off, I'm a fan of C/M. T/M too, but C/M has a spark to me. The note reads as pure Charles, and how Margaret comes back--that's so her.

I made a post to siggen1 the other week about that. Talking about how stupid and bitchy and petty we were all being. To go back and read it ... makes me very sad. I wish it hadn't happened. At least we've all moved WAY passed that whole thing and I think the fandom albeit it's still pretty quiet in M*A*S*H land is stronger now because of it.

Thanks again. It's funny ... when I go back and read some of my stuff from the 'early days' I swear I give myself a *facepalm* and ask myself what I was thinking. I've even thought about trying to fix a few of my fics, but in the end, it would just be too much work and take too much time (which of course I don't have).
