Summary: Peg POV - post-war. 'It was strange, but it was almost as if, through his letters, I felt myself falling in love with Hawkeye too.'

A/N: This fic is for leemal10 … she knows why. I had no beta, because leemal10's my beta, and well, I wanted this fic to be a surprise for her. So, if there are any mistakes, they belong to me alone. Also, this is not an exercise in perfect writing ... it's simply a post-war, smutty, somewhat AU, completely tongue-in-cheek fic. That's it. So you probably shouldn't expect any flowing prose or beautifully worded passages ;-) Anyway, enjoy!

I love you. You couldn't have posted such a thing at a better time. I've giggled for the first time since Saturday.

I love the fic too, of course. One of my favorite bits was this:
>>“I had to pull over and *relieve* myself, BJ.”

“What?” He pushed himself to his elbows. “You …,” he gestured to my groin in an almost comical way. “Did *that* because you saw me, us …?” <<

It made me laugh. And I could see BJ doing that, so it just made it better.

Also liked:

“Peggy!” BJ shouted and pulled a pillow over his head, effectively hiding his face from me. I reached over and removed it, tossing it to the foot of the bed. It landed with a soft thud.

“I’m serious, BJ, have you?”

“Yes,” he barely managed to squeak out.<<

Because it was another bit that made me laugh, and I liked the Peg/BJ interaction. I can easily see a married couple...well, happily married couple interacting the way they do...minus the talk about inviting another man into bed.

I would so love to be Peg right now...
