A/N: I used some dates in this fic, and they may or may not correspond to the timeline. Then again, the M*A*S*H timeline is so f-ed up that it probably doesn't matter that much anyway.

I like it--of course I like it--but I feel like there's some part of it that I'm not understanding. *shakes head* Ah, well. It's probably just me.

For some reason, the line, "So thoughtful, my BJ." really just stood out to me. I think it was my favorite in the whole thing.

LOL! Don't worry about it. It's simple ... BJ reads the letters - to Hawkeye from Trapper and Hawkeye's response. He realizes just how much H cares about him - and in turn, finally realizes how much he cares about (I was a little vague - I didn't want the fic to become too bogged down with being 'wordy'.) Hawkeye. Later that night, Hawk comes 'home', doesn't know that BJ has read the letters so he's confused by how BJ's acting.

I finally got MASH season 9 and 10 *grins* Already saw the first two disc of season 9. I thought Hawkeye was incredibly sweet(in Oh, how we danced)when he taped all those conversations about BJ's anniversary and sent it to Peg and got that tape for BJ. Erin is so cute...
Anyways I loved Letters as well...

At least now when I read certain fanfics or people talking about those episode I know what they are talking about... Too bad we'll have to wait 'till november for season 11
