Indeed. Out of all the fandoms I'm in, I think I've only used two ship names for any of my pairings and those, at least, were relative decent (being Spuffy for the BtVS fandom and Sarkney for Alias). But, really, some of them sound absolutely ridiculous and make me cringe everytime I see them. Gah.
