Anyone notice in "Hanky Panky" (Season 5), when Margaret's going on about not getting a letter from Donald, that the following exchange takes place?

Margaret: I just can't understand why he hasn't written me!

Hawkeye: Maybe there's another woman.

Margaret: Never!

BJ: Another man?

Margaret doesn't reply, just glares.

I wonder, if M*A*S*H was on now, would the writers make it more than just slashy comments (they were obviously knowing what they were doing. It couldn't have been disintentional) as there are becoming more gay shows or would they have been safer in these political correct times?
