Just getting the community rules consolidated for ease of linking in the updated profile. There are a couple of new points, so please read them over.
Ratings Guidelines
The MPAA is selfish with its toys, even a toy as lame as its ratings system. Instead, we ask that you use the following on your fic and art.
If you use a different one, we don't know what you mean, and then we get cranky.
Header
This is just a guideline. Alter it as you wish; just make sure to include the title, rating, warnings (if any), and disclaimer.
If your post title was formatted somewhere along the lines of "[username] Fic Title, Part X of Y (rating)", we'd love you forever--that's the format we use in the memories. Those who do may receive babies. Babies redeemable for chocolate where allowed.
Content Warnings
Tagging
Please tag your own posts. That way, we only have to memory them, and since we're lazy and busy, we'd love that (and be more likely to do it). If you don't have a username tag, don't worry--we'll add it. Use the other relevant tags (pairing, video, etc.). Hawkeye/BJ fics, vids, etc., will all use that tag; LJ has upped the maximum number of uses of a tag to 1000 from the previous 100.
Post Deletion
Don't do it. If things get wanky, freeze the comments and contact a mod. Screen them if you feel it's necessary. We don't usually have problems in the comm, however. If your question is answered, feel free to edit your post to reflect that.
Unrelated to all that, I'm working on catching up on tagging and memories, and consolidating the various H/BJ tags into one. Did you know LJ doesn't make that easy? You have to individually retag posts, and since the H/BJ shippers have, oh, five seasons more than H/T shippers, there's a lot of fic.
Ratings Guidelines
The MPAA is selfish with its toys, even a toy as lame as its ratings system. Instead, we ask that you use the following on your fic and art.
- Everyone, or E
- 7 and up, or 7+
- Thirteen and up, or 13+
- Older teen, or 15+ (think corresponding to an R rating in the MPAA system)
- Mature, or M
If you use a different one, we don't know what you mean, and then we get cranky.

Content Warnings
- Flag adult content--you can do it when you post. There are two options. A guide to flagging is here. Use your own judgment about flagging, but if one of the mods asks you to add one, please do.
- All content is acceptable. However, if it's adult or disturbing (violence, language, sex, etc.), make a note of it in the header. Be vague, if you want, but that cuts down on any complaints about content.
