regarding this...
Okay! Today is Tuesday the 14. I will say you have until Saturday the 18 to get your e-mail submissions to me. This gives you four days. Submissions should have the following information:
• Pairing(s) you’d like to receive
• Rating you’d like to receive
• Any situation you’d like to receive (i.e. post-war, angst, etc.)
Also include:
• Pairings(s) you’d like to write
• Pairings you would not like to write
• If you don’t feel comfortable with writing smut!fics, now is the time to speak out!
• If you’d like to be a back-up writer, let me know also. I’m pretty sure we won’t need any of these—this community is pretty trustworthy—but just in case someone forgets or slips up or anything and doesn’t produce a story, in this case you’d write a last-minute piece so that no one is left without a fic.
Please include your livejournal name as well. You can send submissions to thebrachiator@yahoo.com. No one but me will ever see this e-mail. I’ll go through them, assign every fic a writer, and then e-mail your challenges back to you on Sunday evening, June 19 (I'll send them as late as I can so as to accomodate for differing time zones and various stragglers). Don’t share them with anyone! This spoils the fun!
Try and get a fic that is anywhere from 200-2000 words done by Saturday, July 9, or as close as you can. (I’m e-mailing out the challenges on Saturday, June 18, so this gives you three weeks.) On either Saturday, July 9, or Sunday, July 10, post your fic, and tell in the heading who it’s for. (If you can’t post it exactly on the ninth or the tenth, I’m sure no one will hold it against you if you’re a few days early or late.)
If you’ve got questions (or comments/advice; I’ve never organized a fic-swap before), leave a comment and I will answer it for you.
Happy writing!
