We did! Someone posted an open letter before their comments on an episode on one of the House communities (a general community), and the letter read something like, "Please stop with the gay." For obvious reasons (I'm not only a slasher, but I'm also bi), I rather took offense and commented telling the poster so--then posted on my journal, which got others involved. My friends who were also linked to were rather unimpressed by the open letter.

I do know of an alternative. I may or may not have episodes that can be put on CDs and mailed, and have a fast enough connection that getting others isn't a problem.
