Good fic for someone new to fandom! :)

I'm compiling a list for my girlfriend. I've all ready shoved on Mirror MASH and SIns and Virtues. ANything else you guys would like to add? We both like slash, happy endings and smut! Thanks!

(Hawkeye/Trapper because that is what I know best)

It's also worth checking through the MASH Slash Awards site (http://mashslashawards.popullus.net/)

I am brand new to MASH fandom myself. I tend to favor Hawkeye/BJ fics. Two really good writers I've found so far are B.A. Tyler aka Todash:

http://www.fanfiction.net/u/1477271/Todash

and Meredith Bronwen Mallory:

The first author writes both happy and angsty stories, and virtually all the stories listed are MASH. All that I've read are excellent. The second seems to favor angst, and you have to look through her stories to find the MASH ones. But all that I've read so far are great.

Wow, thank you for the rec, you're much too kind! I don't think I belong in the same breath as Meredith Bronwen Mallory - OMG, she's great! I wish she were still writing B.J./Hawkeye. :-(

Stop being so modest - you're great. :D

ETA: In other words I second the rec for your fics.

I agree with chickadilly; you're awesome. I think it depends on the mood one is in. Most of what I've read by MBM (not too much so far!) is very literary and angsty. Your stuff is sometimes very heart-wrenching, but often very uplifting. So it depends on what one wants to read. But you're both excellent writers:-).

I've always liked Adventures in a Thing (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2300579/1/Adventures_in_a_Thing), by Vampirespider, which I think is rather adorable. (Henry/Radar, G, sweet and amusing)

I wrote a little one-shot Frank piece that I quite like, which is over here.Grey (http://community.livejournal.com/mash_slash/153691.html) (Gen)

And It Only Shows Up in Photographs (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/2827895/1/It_Only_Shows_Up_In_Photographs) is one I'm fond of too. (Gen)

And there's a M*A*S*H* tag over at [livejournal.com profile] crack_van that might be useful (http://community.livejournal.com/mash_slash/153691.html) too.

Whoa, awesome list for another newbie here. (not to the show itself of course).
