Hi.

So this is a bit off topic, but it felt more natural asking the M*A*S*H people than any of my other fandoms, so here goes. I was watching Platoon for the seven billionth time, and I started to wonder why it didn't have a fandom? I mean nothing. Nothin at all. I've seen one fic, I think. And, of course, the movie is just asking for slash. One wonders what Oliver Stone was thinking inserting some of the scenes he does...But yeah, I was hoping that you guys would have an answer for that. Plus, is there any interest?

That said, I love this community. There aren't enough M*A*S*H people out there (and I'm a movie-verse artist myself, even less of us) but it's nice to know there are some. Cheers.

I haven't seen Platoon yet. Keep seeing it in the shop and considering it. Worth buying or better off renting?

Yay! Bigamists!

My friends all hate me, because I always tell them to buy. This is because I'm insane film student, and own most of the movies I've ever seen. That said, Platoon is really rather good, and if you like the M*A*S*H movie odds are you'll like it...So I'd say rent it, and if you watch it more than three times in one sitting (it happens, I swear), then buy it.

Lol, but really, great movie worth seeing, etc. And I don't even like Oliver Stone.
