OT: Question time! Yet another hashbash help query!

OK, I have a question that doesn't really have anything to do with M*A*S*H slash, but I don't know where else I can ask it. I need to know for a fic I'm working on for hashbash. So, sorry this is OT, but ... Nurse Kellye. What was her full name, and what about her exact, or at least her approximate, age?

See, I used to think that the character's name was the same as the actress' name, Kellye Nakahara. But then, when I Googled her, I came across an interview with Kellye that made me think otherwise. Here is the excerpt:

Was it by accident that you and Nurse Kellye shared the same name?

Alan Alda gave me my name. He said, is Kellye your last name, first name, nickname - we had a long talk about it and had fun with it. He gave me my name Kealani Kellye five years after the show started.

Does that mean that her name is Kealani Kellye, and Kellye is her last name - which makes sense, given that all the other nurses went by 'Nurse Last Name' - despite it being the actress' first name? And again, how old was the character supposed to be?

The Internet Movie Database lists her character as "Herself/Nurse Kealani Kellye"

So I think you're exactly right. It's not uncommon for bit characters to have the actors' names, or part of them.

I'm not sure about the age (probably late 20's, early 30's, but that's a guess), though I do know that the "Kellye" in "Nurse Kellye" is a last name,

Thank you ... as to her age, well ... I don't want to spill the entire plot of my fic, but ... twenty-eight would be about the oldest I could safely make her, I think, because it's sort of a flashback. Right. I'm not making sense. Do you think that age would work?
