For some reason I find myself asking a question I'm nearly sure I know the answer to, but I need to know for a story, so here goes. Does anyone know if the guy who did the tannoy announcements was ever given a name, or for that matter a face?
This story is going to involve watching the first four seasons, for reasearch. Oh, the horror.

Going by the movie it was Staff Sargent Vollimer, but to my knowledge he was never given an name in the show. However the two actors that voiced him did appear as other characters.

The announcements were read by one or two guys, who were on the staff or something. There was no real character who read them, although radar and klinger read them sometimes. They have real names, somewhere, but you'll have to look them up. Just go to some MASH fansite and go to the FAQ.
