For the sake of conversation

Due to the fact that this community has been rather, well, quiet lately, I've taken it upon myself to try and stir a bit of activity. Unfortunately, I haven't a story to post to do so, so I'll have to settle for a little conversation starter.

What would you (you being all those "yous" out there) consider to be your most unusual MASH pairing? Or, if not that, do you happen to have a pairing that you adore but would never admit to liking?

I hope this produces some activity.

Farewell.

Klinger/Charles isn't weird--t'least, I dont' think it is--it's just so rarely written. But that's my "weird"est one.

Well...I do have a thing for Mulcahy/Klinger. I've only seen one stroy about that pairing.

BJ/Charles. It's very random - I've never met anyone else who likes it!

I am a horrible person.

I kind of like BJ/Frank, although only when it's Frank unrequited. I would never have though of it on my own, but Jazz Man did it (http://members.fortunecity.co.uk/bajor/all.txt) a while ago, and it made a good deal of sense to me.

I love Hawkeye/Sidney, but I don't find it very strange at all.

In response to that first comment -- it's funny, but it's always seemed to me as though Klinger/Charles gets written more often than most other oddball pairings (by which I mean pairings other than the obvious Trapper/Hawkeye and BJ/Hawkeye). And yet whenever I mention it to people outside the fandom, they always say, "That really shouldn't work." I think it does, somehow.

OK what about Radar pairings? Right now he seems unpairable to me. This could, of course, be to do with my having a temporary brainfart induced by too little television, or with my being an almost-devotee of the One True Pairing (in my case, Hawkeye/Trapper)....

i think potter anyone is slightly strange. but then again, that's me

the charles and the klinger thing, i can see it, and it's not that unusual. maybe mulcahy/klinger would be hard to stoumach

just out of curiosity- is your closing remark a reference to Cervantes? if you don't know what i mean, don't worry too much, it is a wednesday after all

Well, if anything but Hawkeye/Trapper counts as "strange", I'd say Hawkeye/Mulcahy. But I don't think that's strange.

Radar/Klinger

I have read one or two fics of this pairing and I adore it. Absolutely adore it. They are the two most ADORABLE characters and together they are very sweet.

i adore mulcahy-anyone. mostly mulcahy-hawkeye.
umm. henry- hawkeye as well...though i've never actually seen this. (i'm working on a hawkeye-henry story, mostly as thanks for the icon, [livejournal.com profile] takenhawkeye[which i still adore], but it isn't really coming along.)
