question about the display
I should probably be writing to a mod about this, but, er, I don't know how. I'm very new here!
Anyway, my question is, is it just me, or is the only way to avoid having lines of text bumping into each other to view it very small? If I set my browser's text size at "larger" or "largest", the lines overlap horizontally. And my posts, at least the ones that are copied & pasted, seem to be worse than most. (The Rich text compose window doesn't seem to have an option to change fonts, and heck if I'm going to change every single paragraph in html!)
Between that and the gray text, I'm finding this page very hard to read. Does anyone know if there are settings I can change or something?
Thanks!

Anyway, I'm having issues with the leading (i.e., horizontal spacing) on everyone's posts, not just mine (thought the Times is definitely worse than the Verdana). I'm feeling very old and blind ... :-T

When you post, you can change the Rich Text mode over to html. There should be a tab key over the text box. You'll have to type in all the html yourself (like LJ-cuts, bold and italic codes, that sort of thing), but it will stop the font changing to Times New Roman.
The other part, I can't fix. It's all turning up neat on my screen, even with font size changes. Sorry!

Thanks for your help. I'll figure it out eventually.

If you find the community page hard to read, try appending "?style=mine" to the end, so the URL is http://community.livejournal.com/mash_slash?style=mine
Does that help?
Also, you now have a tag for yourself.

Does that help?
Yes! How very very wonderful! I love it.
Thanks!
