This is why I don't write CSI any more. The S/G fangirls (and I don't have anything against people who like S/G or who write S/G) were coming after the C/G fics like hungry sharks and flaming everyone who wrote anything other than S/G. The funny thing is, even though S/G is the on pairing I cannot stand, I have read some fics that were very good. Though usually I avoid them (unless written by a few specific people), I would never think to go and read one with the specific purpose of ripping the author. Maybe it's because there are a lot of very VERY young CSI fans.
