Tbh me and my (also old-school DW fan) boi were talking about it and we thought that it's actually the minority that think like that, they're just the most outspoken about it and the rest of us have learned it's just not worth the energy arguing with them.
But if they can love a program that much for that length of time and be that closed-minded about it... they've not learned anything from that program, and they've not got the right to be Whovians :D
