I looooove Mulcahy, but a lot of the time it's hard to write him into slash, and it has to be done just right and it can never be... I don't know. It's not that it's not realistic, it's just that there's no way it can have a happy ending and be a fic that I'll like. The way you've worked him into this is perfect.
