Myself, I'm often sceptical of stories where Hawk and BJ get to shack up and live happily ever after, seeing as there's places in America where that'd be near-on impossible even now, let alone in the late 50s - but sometimes a little bit of fluff is just what's needed, and this was a thoroughly charming tale, with plenty of the witty banter and historical detail I love finding in MASH fic. I liked this a lot.
