Charles/Klinger fan art! o_O

This is my first piece of M*A*S*H fan art I've actually been relatively happy with. I intended to shade it with pencil, but after I finished the sketch I was afraid I'd screw it up, so I just scanned it and colored it with Photoshop.
Someone pointed out that the uncolored sketch is better, and I think I agree, so I'll post that one too. Maybe I'll just stick with sketches from now on...
Their faces are a little off, and Charles is wildly OOC... but still, I think it came out all right.

I barely ever see any M*A*S*H fanart, of any pairings. :P I seem to remember seeing some Charles/Klinger art on the mashslash yahoo group back in the day, and I think someone did a Radar fan art on this comm a while back... but other than that, nada. This fandom needs pictures, damnit!

All my illusions are destroyed. I remember being surprised, back when I first got into M*A*S*H slash, that there was so much Charles/Klinger stuff out there. There was no H/T or B-Eye fan art at all (and there still isn't) -- but lo, there was Charles/Klinger fan art! There was good fic for pretty much all the pairings, but in terms of proportion, the ratio of good Charles/Klinger fic was suspiciously high. I thought it was positively weird that such a crazy pairing should be so well represented.
But it wasn't! It was just represented very extensively by one person! XD All this time I've been convinced that Charles/Klinger was a fairly well-established pairing in fandom. It had to be. It had fan art.
I am so amused by this.
Anyway, dude, you have some awesome skills with Paint Program -- the best I can do with Paint is stick figures. If you've done any other Chaxie fan art, I'd like to see more. :D

Ooh. I really like the "We're Goin' Home" one -- especially Charles. He not only looks like Charles, but he's very in-character... the pocket in the coat, and the hint of smugness under an overall rather genuine smile. Very cute. Your style works well for these characters, since Farr and Stiers both have really big eyes. ;)
And hee, Chaxie wallpaper! :D I love the pictures in the lower right-hand corner. That's got to be the best Chaxie moment ever, and the shot of Klinger is just gorgeous.
