Oh, lovely! I was never a big fan of Hawkeye/Francis until Jane Carnall's lovely work turned me on to the pairing, and it's so nice to see more in the same vein.

Sure! Her GreatestJournal page is at http://janecarnall.greatestjournal.com (follow the link to her Memories list), and then there's someplace you can download all of "Sins and Virtues" as a pdf, but I can't find it now. In that, it's a *huge* problem that he's a priest -- the payoff doesn't come cheap, they really have to work through things. It's lovely and very realistic.

This is beautiful and heartbreaking. Thanks for posting it. I'm curious about the guy Mulcahy wound up with? Is he supposed to be living in Britain?
