Well ... actually, considering I was the one in the center of the swirling crap last week ;) I think that posting a list of the "oldsters" standards would be a good idea. However, the one thing that people have to realize is that not everyone is going to stick to those standards.

What's the old saying ... rules are made to be broken?

But I do think that, especially if it's done in a comedic way (as M*A*S*H itself is ...) it could really work. And those of us "newbies" would know what to expect if we post something that's not up to those particular standards.

Seriously. I think it's a good idea. I wish I had seen something like that before I started posting my fics here :) It would've helped A LOT.
